INTEGRATING INFRASTRUCTURE, DESIGN, AND BOTANY

The Green Wall project is an on campus outdoor green wall aiming to bring a year round living space to campus. The project is using a drip irrigation and resilient plants system to support the system in harsh conditions. We are currently in the final design phase and moving onto BUILDING!! In the following weeks and in Spring Quarter we will be developing our first grow box and growing plants. As we work with Northwestern Facilities we will move to build outside in the 2024-2025 school year.

During the design and build process members develop their CAD skills, work in the shop, and broaden their understanding of botany, plumbing, and construction. If you are interested in joining our project, please reach out to one or both of our project managers for more information!
